Thiruvananthapuram, also know as Trivandrum is in the western-southern tip of India. The city is famous for its beaches like Kovalam, Shankhumugham, Veli & Varkala.

The anchal agasthyakode mahadevar temple is major and famous mahadevar temple in kollam. The Thrikkadavoor Mahadevar Temple is another most famous siva temple in Kollam. The festival of Attachamayam is held on the eighth day of the Malayalam month of Chingam, which usually falls in August or September at the historical town of Tripunithura, near Kochi. Classical dances like Kathakali and Mohiniattam are a major attraction in Kochi.
